Given I lived in Alabama for 3 years, it was easy for me to capture this road sign as I passed if frequently on the way to and from my Tennessee hometown to visit family.

This road sign was always a welcome sight and was taken on US Hwy 72 between Bridgeport, AL and South Pittsburg, TN. You’re able to cross the road and take the Tennessee sign as well!

In October 2023, me, my parents, and husband took a trip to visit Mississippi’s highest point and got some photos with the Alabama welcome sign when we crossed from Alabama into Mississippi. Same sign, 1 year later! I’m really glad we did this because I didn’t know back in 2022 that I’d be creating blog posts for each welcome sign so this allowed me to take some more photos than just the few I previously had.
